This image is one of my personal favorites. I've worked hard to come up with pleasing compositons of Calla lilies. I was working this flower and set up when the hoverfly just popped in out of nowhere to share the stage. I got two shots before it took off as quickly as it landed. Clearly, luck was involved but luck often happens to those who are prepared to take advantage of quickly changing circumstances and light.
